Effective period / Period of releases: 1973 - 2004

Members: Geoff March, Johnny Coppin, Dik Cadbury, Dave Bell (3), Al Fenn

Initially formed in 1968 in Cheltenham by singer/songwriters Johnny Coppin and Dave Bell, in 1971 the band were joined by guitarist Al Fenn. Geoff March on cello and keyboards joined soon after. This 4 piece toured around folk clubs before moving up to bigger venues after a couple of years, both in the UK and around Europe. Dik Cadbury joined about this time playing bass , violin and keyboards. Subsequently drummer Bob Critchley was employed for the tours to promote the 4th album 'Tomorrows Pantomime' but sadly the band folded a few months later citing the prohibitive costs of touring with a six piece band.
