Kenny Jacobson

Real name: Kenneth Jacobson

American songwriter. He often collaborated with lyricist Rhoda Roberts.
Born March 20, 1932 Waterville, Maine March 22, 2021,
He and Rhoda Roberts collaborated on more than 50 songs but also on four charted ones: "Put a Light in the Window" by The Four Lads, which landed at #8 in the U.S. in 1957 for The Four Lads at #25 in the U.K. for King Brothers; "Swingin' Shepherd Blues" by Ella Fitzgerald hit #15 in the U.K. in 1958; and "Ding Dong" by The McGuire Sisters hit #25 in 1958 in the U.S.
Jacobson wrote the music for the musical "Hot September" (1965) while Roberts wrote the lyrics.
