Brazilian singer and guitarist. She started her guitar studies at the age of 9 as a student of Elza Nogueira and Tom Zé, and at CLAM (Zimbo Trio school) she developed her profound admiration for Brazilian music, where she studied guitar and singing for 10 years. Graduated in music at Faculdade Marcelo Tupinambá, in São Paulo; she worked as a businesswoman and financial director at her advertising agency from 1981 to 2002, when she founded Escola Sons, a bold project, a different school with the aim of teaching and promoting good music.
