John Edmondson
Real name: John Baldwin Edmondson
(* 3 February 1933 in Toledo, Ohio; † 30 December 2016 in Coral Springs, Florida), married to Anne McGinty.American composer, arranger, publisher, freelance writer, musician (trumpet, piano), educator and music teacher. Together with his wife he was the owner of Queenwood Publications from 1987-2002, which is today a part of Neil A Kjos Music Company. Edmondson wrote more than 1000 compositions in the field of band and educational music. He was elected to membership in the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers by virtue of a recording by Nina Simone of a song he co-authored with Cynthia Medley, "End of the Line".
