Real name: Charles Artice Glenn

US composer - Member of the KRLD Big D Jamboree. Mainly known for penning the 1953 classic "Crying In The Chapel". The song was originally written for Glenn's son, then highschool student Darrell Glenn to record. This, the original version, caught local attention and was soon covered by bigger artists like Orioles a.o. Elvis Presley recorded the best known version in 1960.
