Wolfram Von Eschenbach
German Minnesänger (= minnesinger) and knight (c. 1160/80 – c. 1220), best known today as the author of 'Parzival'. Based on Chrétien de Troyes' Perceval, le Conte du Graal, Parzival is the first extant work in German dealing with the Holy Grail.
