СИГНАЛ was an experimental band founded by Lev Portnoy in Moscow, Russia in the late 1980s (USSR at the time) consisting originally of Lev Portnoy, Yuri Blum, and Dmitry Karthashov. Sometime later Sergej Plaksin, a longtime friend of Lev, also joined the band.
