The Strings Aflame are "third-degree instrumental burns" from the State of Mexico, Mexico. The name was taken as a tribute to an album by Juan Garcia Esquivel, Mexican composer, and musician and a big influence for the project, as well as the sounds of the '50s and '60s, mainly surf music.
