Onion was an American rock band hailing mainly from Bridgeport, Connecticut, that was formed in 1987 under the name Flying Buttress. The band later changed their name to UNYN before ultimately settling on the traditional spelling, "Onion," as their final moniker in 1990. Onion disbanded in 1993.
