Taubesällskapet Västanvind was founded in Gothenburg, Sweden on March 17, 1993. The association is active in western Sweden and our goal is to in various ways nurture and manage the rich cultural heritage after Astri and Evert Taube.
Taubesällskapet Västanvind wants to gather both young and old who appreciate Evert Taube's songs, music, lyric and prose and want to help pass this our common cultural treasure on to future generations. Evert Taube fought for the future of the Swedish show and the show needs all the support.
