Cruz María Conopoz
Real name: Cruz María Rivero Conopoy
Best known as Cruz María Conopoy (b. La Provincia, Miranda state, July 17th, 1945 - d. Caucagua, Miranda state, December 30, 2022). Conopoy was an outstanding afro venezuelan folklore precursor, recognized by the Miranda Government as "Living Cultural Patrimony of Miranda State" (VE-IPC-0007IE). Many of his compositions had recorded by very popular folklore venezuelan groups.
