Bas De Vroome
Dutch organist (b.1962).
De Vroome is the principal organist of the Oude and Nieuwe Kerk in Delft where he plays the four historical organs. In the Nieuwe Kerk, he played with the advisories of HRH Prince Claus, Princess Juliana and Prince Bernhard and played at the wedding service of Prince Friso and Princess Mabel. He is also a carillon artist in Vlaardingen, Rijnsburg, Naaldwijk, Wateringen, De Lier and Spijkenisse and has been involved in school projects to bring the carillon to the attention of children. Since 1994, Bas de Vroome has been working as principal organ teacher at the Rotterdam Conservatory
