Sekhu Gentle
Real name: Se'khu Hadjo Gentle
Se'khu Gentle was born Donald Gentle on Davis Island in Tampa, Florida August 25th 1974. He was raised by his Seminole Grandmothers while both his parents served in the military. At the age of 12 years old Se'khu started his music career and released his first single " Love is not a toy" . By the age of 15 Se'khu started touring and doing shows with such artist like Salt & Pepper, Heavy- D, Luke Skywalker (Luther Campbell) & more. At 18 years of age he signed to Bound Sound Records under his cousin the late "L.C. Sneed" formerly of Warner brothers and started writing music with Artist like Kenneth " Devastaor X" Terry, landing his first TV placement with his song titled "Slang Dat Bottom"He dropped off the music scene for some years to come back with his brother Sly "Pyper" Jordan to create a songwriting and production team called " Tha PieceMakerz " . Under the newly formed group the duo would ghost write for Various Artist including : The Ojay's, Donnell Jones, Kelly Rowland, Shareefa, Flo-Rida, Sean Kingston " Beautiful Girl" to eventually working with Rap Legends like " The Game" " Snoop Dogg" " Eminem" & music mogul Andre "Dr. Dre: Young.
Tha Piecemakerz would be attributed to helping create a dozen or more " Multi Platinum Albums" as well as several Grammy winning nominations from the artist they have worked with.
