Swedish drummer, guitarist and singer, mainly known as drummer in the rock band The Ark and lead vocalist and guitarist in The Guild, born March 22, 1976 in Kosta in Ekeberga parish.

Schlegel previously played in the Växjö band The Tambureens. In Tambureens he played together with Jon Axelsson, Rickard Karlsson, Niklas Stenemo and Kristofer Östergren. The Tambureens released two albums. After The Tambureens split, Axelsson and Östergren started the band Melody Club, while Karlsson and Stenemo ended up in the band The Mo and Schlegel became a member of The Ark.

The Guild is another of Schlegel's bands, with music inspired by the 1960s. There he takes on the role of singer and guitarist. In 2006, they released their debut album Oh My Guild !.

In 2014, Schlegel competed in the Melodifestivalen with the melody "Bygdens son" at the first competition in Malmö Arena. The entry finished in eighth place, and was thus eliminated from the competition.

Schlegel is also the drummer in the band Augustifamiljen, which for many years participated in the Swedish TV quiz show "På spåret".
