Real name: 伊東 茂子 / Shigeko Itou
Shigeko Orii. Japanese female singer. Born in Tokyo January 10, 1926; died January 23, 1996.Originally debuted on King Records under the name 都能子 (Yoshiko Miyako) in 1947. In 1949 she moved to Columbia and took the name 織井茂子 (Shigeko Orii).
