US songwriter (1931-2008) best known for penning two 60's classics, the 1963 "You're No Good" first recorded by Dee Dee Warwick and the 1965 "Game of Love" originally by Wayne Fontana & The Mindbenders, both later covered by several artists. Before that he was noted for discovering and managing The Kalin Twins
