Mats G. Bengtsson

Real name: Mats Gunnar Bengtsson

Swedish author, songwriter, pianist, clavinetist and actor, published ‘concrete poetry’ during the early 1960s, born 26 November 1944 in Helsingborg, Sweden, dead 2 November 2005 in Stockholm, Sweden.

He was editor of Gorilla, an art and media review, between 1966 and 1967. Musically, Bengtsson was a member of both Gunder Hägg and Blå Tåget. As actor, he was often casted in films by Håkan Alexandersson and Carl-Johan De Geer during the 1970s to mid 1990s. Brother of Tord Bengtsson.
