This is for mislabelled "Vienna Opera Company" use ONLY (i.e., where a legitimate orchestra, and/or chorus, cannot be identified). It is best to state explicitly in the notes that this is the case.

The "Vienna Opera Company" does not exist (for starters, it would have a German name...). It usually appears (suspiciously as the sole performer credit) on budget labels, with the apparent intention of obscuring any genuine credits.

The name could be used for legitimate entities, like Wiener Volksopernorchester or the Orchester der Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna People's Opera Orchestra / Orchestra of the Vienna State Opera). In that case, it is of course to be used as the ANV.
