The Sisters of Glory (Thelma Houston, CeCe Peniston, Phoebe Snow, Lois Walden and Albertina Walker) first performed together at a New York benefit. The next gig for the gospel quintet was at 1994's Woodstock; later that year they appeared before the Pope at the Christmas at the Vatican II concert. The Sisters then recorded Good News in Hard Times for Warner Bros.
