Real name: Audley Fleming Dudley

American mandolin player (born June 21, 1877 in Easton, Talbot County, Maryland, USA – died September 1, 1916 in Saranac Lake, Franklin County, New York, USA)

Dudley played the triple-string mandolin. With his brother, harp guitarist George N. Dudley, he founded and mandolin and guitar orchestra that played the Palm Garden of Kernan's Theater in Batimore for several years. Later, they performed Sunday nights in New York theaters. In 1906, he and his brother joined "The Banjo King" Vess L. Ossman to form the Ossman-Dudley Trio. The brothers also owned a music store in New York City. In 1916, Audley Dudley died of tuberculosis, age 39.
