Marshall P. Lufsky

American flautist.
(b. October 4, 1878 Milwaukee, WI – d. December 11, 1948 Milwaukee, WI)

A child prodigy, Lufsky performed in his first concert with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra at age 12. In 1897, he joined the Chicago Marine Band. From 1900-1910, he was a member of the John Philip Sousa Band, where he was frequently featured on flute or piccolo solos.

Lufsky began recording in 1903 for Victor, but around 1906, he switched to Columbia.
