Paul Van Ostaijen
Flemish poet, born in Antwerp, 22 February 1896, died in Miavoye-Anthée, 18 March 1928. Van Ostaijen introduced the expressionism in the Dutch literature.
During his life, Van Ostaijen was a Flemish nationalist and he collaborated with the Germans during World War I. After the war he lived in Berlin but returned to Belgium when he found out that he didn't risked a process for collaboration. He died of tuberculoses at the age of 32.
