Deben Bhattacharya (December 12, 1921, Varanasi, India – July 23, 2001, Paris, France) was a Bengali ethnomusicologist, radio and record producer.
Bhattacharya produced over 100 records, 23 films and published more than a dozen books mostly under the auspices of UNESCO.
Settled in Paris since 1954, his family gave his huge sound archive to Bibliothèque Nationale De France.
Producer (among others) of The Living Tradition series.
