Real name: Richard Martin

Richard Martin - AKA Vital Substance grew up in Hertfordshire, on the outskirts of London. He started DJ-ing at a young age and then made the logical progression, as many DJ's do, into production. He spent time in Brighton, on the south coast of England (renowned for it's healthy music scene) and now resides in Brixton, south London. He has produced and continues to produce a wide variety of beat based dance music, not limiting himself to one style.
