American musician (horns, woodwinds), Music Director, arranger, conductor, producer. Born February 21, 1942 in Mobile, Alabama. Died August 30, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee.Conducted 55 major orchestral albums including 27 for the London Symphony, 23 for the London Philharmonic and 5 with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Performed and/or arranged with a variety of musicians and shows including
Al Hirt, B.B. King, The Beach Boys, Bob Hope, Boston Pops Orchestra, Brenda Lee, Chet Atkins, Chubby Checker, Dolly Parton, Fats Domino, Floyd Cramer, Four Tops, Garth Brooks, Jimmy Ruffin, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Lori Morgan, Lucille Ball, Martha Reeves, Mary Wilson, Nevada Symphony, Nashville Now, Oak Ridge Boys, Placido Domingo, Ralph Emery Show, Randy Travis, Roy Orbison, Temptations, Tony Bennett, Vienna Boys Choir, and Zamfir, among others.
