After leaving The Newcomers and a brief stint with The Temprees, he recorded three singles at Truth Records and Mainstream Records
Schoolmate soul producer - songwriter Carl Hampton brought him to Parachute Records where he released two albums.
After two albums, he released two more albums at Chocolate City.
His fifth and last album was recorded at Stax
Recorded five albums between 1978 - 1981.
His biggest hit is "We Ought to Be Doin' It"
