Linda Hargrove married Charles Bartholomew in 1980. During her previous career she became heavily involved in drugs and alcohol to the extent that she had no control over her use of them. Adding to that the misery of wrong relationships. Linda slowly came to the realisation that she needed help. She became a born again Christian. In 1981 Linda dedicated her songwriting abilities to Gospel music.
