Swedish opera singer (soprano), born March 5, 1947 in Gothenburg.

She made her debut in 1971 as Rosina in The Barber in Seville at the Stora teatern in Gothenburg. In 1975, she played the role of Papagena in Ingmar Bergman's TV film The Magic Flute. When the Gothenburg Opera was inaugurated in 1994, she accompanied there; her first role there was Daisi Doody in Aniara. Other roles include Violetta, Gilda, Pamina, Susanna, Anne Trulove in Rucklarens väg, Tatjana, Jenůfa, the penguin in Animalen and the title role in Katarina Ismajlova. For her work as Katarina, she received the magazine Opera's, Opera Prize in 1987.

She was named "hovsångerska" (Royal court singer) in 1988.
