Morrigan

From 1992 to 1997, Beliar (guitar/vocals) and Balor (drums) performed together in the German-based black metal band Mayhemic Truth. In 1997 they split up. However, in 2000 they got back together and formed the viking/black metal band Morrigan.Their first full-length CD, "Plague, Waste And Death", was released by Barbarian Wrath in May 2001. That same year they headlined the "Under the Black Sun" festival and played some more gigs including the "Drakkar Hellfest".
In 2002 they released their second full-length, "Enter The Sea Of Flames", also on Barbarian Wrath. That same year the limited edition vinyl version of the "Plague, Waste And Death" album was released by Miriquidi Productions.
In late 2002 Baldur entered the band as a second guitarist and they began working on material for their third full-length. In May 2003 Morrigan broke with their label, Barbarian Wrath, and decided to run their own label, Horns Of Cernunos Productions. Baldur left the band in September 2003.
Their third full-length, "Celts", was released in December 2003 on Horns of Cernunos Productions. In 2004 they released a split with the Greece-based black metal band Nocternity, entitled "A Celtic / Hellenic Alliance".
In July 2005 they released their fourth full-length, entitled "Headcult", on Undercover Records. "Welcome To Samhain", their fifth full-length, was released on Undercover Records in May 2006.
