Carlo Menotti

Baritone and vocal teacher. Menotti was born in Brazil of Italian parents. He moved to Italy to study under Maestro Guiseppe Impallomeni of St. Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. He made his New York vocal debut at Town Hall in "Via Pacis" starring Gigli. He later devoted himself to teaching. His celebrity students included Frankie Avalon, Lucille Ball, Pat Boone, Laura Branigan, Bobby Darin, Connie Francis, Julius La Rosa, Al Martino, Liza Minnelli, Carmel Quinn, Nancy Sinatra, and Jerry Vale.
