Shane Christakis, aka Shane Sounds (name bestowed upon him by the bay area legend DJ Fresh). Producer/DJ from the California Bay Area. Shane spent his time developing instrumental obstacle courses for local emcees to dance around including Gift Of Gab (Blackalicious), Spills (ny), Kinetic Source (Ozomatli) and Cashus King (LA.) By the age of 21 Shane threw himself into the ring of the Stones Throw beat making contest and walked away twice as a weekly winner of the battles.
