The Abducted is a ColombianAustralian Death metal band currently based in Adelaide. The Abducted was originally formed as Abducted Child in Armenia, Quindio in 2004 by Andres Lopez (Guitar and vocals) and Sebastian Gutierrez (guitar) , George Hanrryr (Bass) and Sebastian Arbelaez (Drums) joined later. This was a short lived line up beforeSebastian Gutierrez left due to lack of commitment and George moved on guitar. The trio them played several gigs and then George decided to leave the band, then Felipe Rodriguez and Jaime Orozco joined. Jaime then left to play with Inside (2005) and Abducted Child continued as a trio until 2007 recording the EP Oncoming the enemy (2006) and the live album Live abduction (2006). Then in 2007 Juan De Dios joined as second guitarist just before Andres left to live in Australia. 
 The band then became a Solo project in 2012, and recorded the songs programming the drums and “The First World Invasion” came out on Sept 2012. 
 In 2014 Brisbane Australia, Andres decided to change the name to The Abducted and got together with Joseph Butler and Trent O’Neal with the aid of Lindon Faynes as a session player. 
 The abducted had a good run of gigs playing with bands like Psycroptic, Earthrot, Hope Drone, Coffin Birth, Kyzer Soze, among many other 
 Andres moves to Adelaide and returns to be a solo project putting out Epoch Before the End (2017) and the brand new EP “The Netherworld Is Descending Upon Us”
