Real name: Edgardo Armando Franco
(Panama City, September 27, 1969), better known as El General, is a Panamanian singer retired from reggae in Spanish. The General is credited for helping to spread the music of Panama in the 1990s, due to many of his songs. The General retired in 2004 from the music industry. Before becoming famous, he was and is now a Jehovah's Witness.
