Born August 3, 1946 in New York. BMI IP# 53106417.
York is a former Byrd. He currently plays in The Jangle Brothers with Billy Darnell and Chad Watson.
York was also bass player in the Sir Douglas Quintet, for the Mamas and the Papas, Johnny Rivers, Lightning Hopkins and many others. He played 12 string guitar with Gene Clark, Nicky Hopkins, Rick Danko, Richard Manuel, and until recently with Barry McGuire in Trippin' the Sixties.
