Real name: Alan Hinton

Alan Hinton has been involved in music since the age of 15 starting out on a Sony Playstation 1 and using Music 2000 as his software sequencer. Alan quickly got a taste for making music professionally and invested in a PC, his 1st release, with bounce nation records, run by local deejays of his home town Halifax
After a few years producing bouncy house music, as Alan Aztec, and running his own label, “Stomp 'N' Donk”, Alan decided it was time to try something new. He was introduced to a guy named a69746 ,aka Pianoman, who he knew from the big chart topping hit “Blurred”. After a while James and Alan became great friends , and writing partners, with a string of hits within the bassline scene under the alias’s 2Tyme, Service Crew, Made Men and more.

James and Alan continued in different genres including Dance music (BPM) partnering up with Lee Butler and Kenny Hayes to release BPM, Danny - Eternity. Alongside this, Alan’s love for UK Hardcore birthed the name Retro & Flawless working with Lisa Abbott with several tracks released. Alan still continues the Flawless portion of this act to this day.

After a few years Alan decided it was time for a change, again. This, time old friend and Bouncy House producer Matt James aka Mjay asked Alan to do a few remixes for him, which lead onto Original work and the start of the Record Label Nine Planet Records.
