Swedish classical quartet, formed in the fall of 1962, by then the concertmasters in the string sections of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.

The quartet consisted of concertmaster Mircea Saulesco on first violin, Claes Nilsson on second violin, Holger Hansson on viola and Åke Olofsson on cello, and had their public debut concert a year later. Saulescokvartetten was awarded a Grammy in 1972 for the year's chamber production.
