Владо Марјановић

Vlada Marjanović (born October 1, 1872 in Palanka, Hungary – died August 9, 1935 in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia) was a legendary Serbian prim player from the Vojvodina.Marjanović emigrated to the United States in July 1907 and settled first in New York. In 1918, he worked as a salesman for photo frames in Chicago. In 1925, he was naturalized under the name Wlada Marjanovich in Indiana Harbor, East Chicago.
In June 1912, he recorded eight sides with Columbia in New York; on six of them, he sings tenor in a duet with baritone Draga Ilkić.
