David Lamb was born in Missouri and spent most of his life in Southern California where he preformed local clubs, bars and restaurants on the West Coast. Along with performing as a solo artist, he played with bands like The Tories and Long Beach Furniture Company. He also shared a rehearsal studio with his friends from Gye Whiz, and recorded an LP in Burbank with them.

He currently lives in Austin, Texas.
