Dave MacDonald is a guitarist, singer and producer from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. After releasing a single for Diana (2) as a teenager in the late '70s, MacDonald moved to New York City, where he became an in-house producer for Tay-Ster and worked on early hip-hop recordings. He subsequently starred in Broadway musicals such as Cats and Rock 'N Roll!: The First 5000 Years. By the end of the '80s, MacDonald moved back to Canada, and evolved into a Christian music artist.
