Rayuela (3) is an alternative rock band from Quito that identifies with the grunge genre, is composed by Paúl Silva (vocalist and guitar); Esteban Vera (bass) and Jorge Raúl Imbaquingo (drums).
Rayuela (3) was formed in 1998 in the underground circuits of Quito. At the beginning, the group was a quartet formed by guitarist Paúl Silva, Esteban Vera on bass, Jorge Raúl Imbaquingo on drums and singer Ilich Imbaquingo. Then, Paúl Silva assumed the role of singer and guitarist.
The band produced their first self-titled album in 2004, then it was reissued in 2005. In 2008 they made an EP called "Tu Otro Ser" and in 2009 the band produced their second album called "Rayuela 2.1".
