Pedro “sP” Polanco is a three-time Latin Grammy nominee and an ASCAP award-winning composer with over ten Top-10 hits on the Billboard Tropical Chart who has played a central role in shaping the sound of modern bachata. Born in the Dominican Republic, sP moved to the Bronx, New York when he was seven. The multitude of genres, cultures, and languages there shaped and influenced sP, and his music reflects his multicultural identity as he blends these sounds with all the sounds of his Dominican heritage.
