Stage name: 榎本 美佐江 (Misae Enomoto)
Japanese geisha, female singer, actress born in Saitama prefecture.
(March 13, 1924 - September 23, 1998)
Student of 大村能章歌謡学院 (Nōshō Ōmura Kayou School).

In 1946, she made her debut with Teichiku Records but did not have much success because Boogie Woogie, with artists such as 服部 良一 (Ryoichi Hattori) or 笠置シヅ子 (Shizuko Kasagi), was popular at the time.
In 1947, she made her film debut.
In 1949, she moved to Victor Records.
In 1950, she got a big cheer at a Hawaii show while singing dressed as a geisha so she decided to adopt the style.

In 1955, she retired from the entertainment business after starting a relationship with professional baseball pitcher 金田 正一. They got married in 1960.
After her divorce in 1963, she resumed her singing career.
