DEVASTATOR is a four-piece Blackened Thrash/Speed Metal band from the county of Derbyshire in the United Kingdom. Influenced by the Extreme Metal titans such as Sodom, Bathory, Sepultura, Destruction, Venom, Aura Noir, Darkthrone, Celtic Frost, Slayer and Motörhead, the band strives in creating the fastest and most primitive sonic assault possible.
Formed in 2017, Devastator rose from the ashes of UK SweDeath worshipers Repulsive and Derby based Thrashing Heavy Metal juggernaut Hellrazor, along with young solo guitar virtuoso Richard Bateman, the line-up of Devastator was born.
