(Born February 13, 1939 in Berlin as Beate Auguste Künzel) is a German-French journalist. She became known for her involvement in the investigation and persecution of Nazi crimes. A slap in the face of Kurt Georg Kiesinger because of his Nazi past in 1968 caused a sensation. In 2012, she was set up as a candidate for the German presidential election.
