Alfred Jack

German composer, arranger, pianist and conductor, born 25.02.1914 in Petersburg and died in 2006 or 2007. In 1945 Alfred Jack became head of the dance music department at Berliner Rundfunk, and from 1955 at SFB, where he stayed until 1978. He organized music events in the large broadcasting hall and brings Jacqueline Boyer and Vico Torriani to the city. He worked with Paul Kuhn and Wolfgang Gruner. He organized his first recordings with Udo Jürgens as Jürgen Bockelmann, and suggested that he should look for a better name.
