Beyond Joy And Evil was formed in 1974 and started as an experiment in creating ultimate energy with musical instruments. The rules were play as loud, fast and as long as possible, usually non stop for 3 hours. Since the 80s they became acoustic, but the concept has not changed. The first recordings were done Live in Oakland & Chatsworth. The later recordings were done Live at the Knitting Factory in LA and 2 studio pieces.
