The Original Alpenland Quintet was a folk music group from Tyrol in Austria. The front man was Sepp Silberberger.

In 1974 Sepp Silberberger, Rudi Margreiter, Seppi Oberhofer and Peter Furtner founded the Alpenland Quintet, which was soon named "Original". As is often the case with such projects, the cast changed regularly.

In the course of their 25-year career, the band released 38 records. In 2000 they said goodbye with a double CD.
