Real name: Богдан Іванович Мельничук
Bogdan Melnychuk (alias - B. Volynskyi, I. Gavriltsio, B. Zherdyniuk; born August 2, 1952, Molotkov, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian writer, playwright, editor, journalist, and local historian. Honored Artist of Ukraine (2008). Member of national unions of journalists (1980) and writers of Ukraine, local lore, Scientific Society. Shevchenko (all 1998).
