Jowonio Productions began making music in hyper limited personal editions in 1990 after spending some time in the USA. They then issued a handful of releases on tiny independent labels, and on their own Leohtan imprint. A number of tracks appeared on underground compilations albums and eps.
More recently John changed the name of his musical expression to beautifulnoise/skin and all previous musics come under that bandname. Primarily a solo project there have also been a number of collaborations over the years most notably on the 'Meat And Bread EP' where he worked with Merzbow, Big Block 454 and others. Current releases tend to be web based.
