Ricardo Fonseca
Ricardo Fonseca is a Portuguese electric and acoustic guitarist, currently dedicates himself to the study of Portuguese chordophones, such as viola campaniça, beiroa, amarantina, cavaquinho and others.
He begun learning the guitar at around 13 years of age, in his teenage years and twenties he was part of rock groups such as Big Flower Mind, Last Hope and Saint Nicholas Farm; in the beginning of the new millennium he regained interest in Portuguese typical chordophones, and has collaborated with groups such as Deambulando, Raízes, Portáteis, Boa Nova and Cordas À Conversa.
